There’s a few fairly new Star Wars reference books I’ve become aware of, and they look pretty wonderful.
This is a DK book full of information on the franchise, including sections on the galaxy, science and technology, the Force, the Skywalkers, galactic governments and their dissidents, and galactic denizens. Filled with film and TV stills, infographics, and essays, this sounds like an encyclopedic addition to any collection.
This is a book filled with little-known facts about all nine films, including on-set tidbits, character profiles, early scripts, and cast and crew accounts. Both this one and the previous one above are penned by Pablo Hidalgo, a long-time Star Wars insider and author.
Ah, and here is the jewel of the three: The Lightsaber Collection. This is on my list of reference book must-haves. It’s a beautiful book with photographs and information on the iconic lightsabers found in the Star Wars universe, including the films, Clone Wars, Rebels, the comics, novels and video games. Perfection. (Leia’s lightsaber is my favorite.)
