Star Wars: The High Republic–More Avar

I came across some more fan art images of Avar Kriss and thought I’d share them with you here:

Uzuri Art
Pizza Wizard on boards.theforce.net
Brie Larson as Avar Kriss by mnstrdraw on intagram.com

My favorite is the top one by far. Beautiful, but don’t mess with her, lol. The middle one is fine, too, but I’m not sure how I feel about the Brie Larson version. I have nothing against the actress; I guess I just don’t need to associate any particular actress with Avar (at least not until there’s a live version of her [please!]).

What do you think of these images? Let me know in the comments and we’ll talk about it!

  1. I saw the Brie Larson one and uploaded it to my IG a while back and someone commented on it and sent a @ to Brie Larson lol… OMG DON’T DO that please I don’t want people to think I run my IG simply to get the attention of Hollywood actors lol (I mean there is nothing wrong with people doing that but I don’t do it on my own account and it feels a little cringey when other people do it on things I’ve posted to my account).

The top one is also my favourite of these – beautiful. But I really like Uzuiriart’s style 🙂

    1. When I was doing my other blog a few years ago, I often wrote book reviews or posts about favorite authors, and one was about the Canadian fantasy author Guy Gavriel Kay. I kind of gushed about how much I love this guy’s books, and one of my followers sent it on to the author himself! I was a bit mortified, to say the least. He was very kind and replied back to her “Relay my thanks.” But again, once you put something out there, you can’t really control what people do with it, lol.

      1. LOL that’s awesome haha yeah, it’s true Once it’s on the internet, it’s there forever. I don’t know why so many people think that by deleting a comment or a webpage is enough. You can’t delete anything online. I mean you can delete it but you cannot remove it. That’s why websites like the internet archive are treasured so much because they have cached webpages from years ago. I remember looking for a character I used to play years ago in EQ and they had it lol even years after the website was taken down. Nothing is ever gone, kinda like the quote in star wars (I mean noone is ever really gone is how people should think of anything they put online). It will NEVER be gone 😀
