My review of the Legends novel Clone Wars: Wild Space, by Karen Miller.
Star Wars books have some great covers, but these are some of my favorites.
I’ve been thinking about the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and this passage from the Revenge of the Sith novel by Matthew Stover came to mind. This dialogue between Yoda and Obi-Wan wasn’t in the film, but it shows that, although Obi-Wan is saddened and grieved by Anakin’s turn, his friend will live on in Luke.Continue reading “ROTS Quote, and Speculation About the Obi-Wan Kenobi Show”
With all the renewed excitement about the Obi-Wan Kenobi series due to the announcement that Hayden Christensen will be reprising his role as Darth Vader, I thought I’d list some great books that either center on Obi-Wan Kenobi, or at least include him in the story. We’ll start with Legends books, since there are moreContinue reading “Star Wars Books: If You Like Obi-Wan Kenobi…”

Meditation Good morning, Qui Gon. Quiet here, as always. I know there are seasons on this planet, but I’m still not sure which one I’m in. But it is peaceful. “For Anakin, there is nothing more important than friendship. He is the most loyal man I’ve ever met–loyal beyond reason; in fact […] abstractions like peace don’t mean much to him. He will stop at nothing to save me, for example, becauseContinue reading “Star Wars Quote of the Week: Obi-Wan on Anakin (ROTS)”
Later that evening, in Qui Gon’s quarters, Obi-Wan dared to say, “So far as I can tell, Master, the prophecies seem…extremely vague.” Qui Gon looked up from the records Obi-Wan had brought him. I hope you can read my thoughts, Master Qui-Gon: I haven’t heard your voice since that day on Polis Massa, when Master Yoda told me I could commune with you through the Force. You’ll remember that we decided that I should take Anakin’s son to his relatives for safekeeping. ThatContinue reading “Kenobi: Excerpt”
